The Mud Yard’s next event for 2016 will be held at Buzzards Valley Vineyard & Fishery at Drayton Bassett, Nr Tamworth, Staffs.

For those who took part in our Drayton Manor event we can confirm that there will definitely be less mud this time!! However, that does not mean you are in for an easy time of it.

The course will offer 2 distances 5k and 8-10k of fantastic natural woodland and terrain. There will be water pod crossings, water slides, tyre walls, bomb holes to pull yourself out of, there will be climbing and crawling. We have some fantastic new man-made obstacles planned to test your mental and physical strength. Most of all we want you to have a fantastic time and challenge yourself. 

This event will be open to adults over 16 years only. We apologise to the kids & families who took part last time – however watch this space for an announcement on dates for a family event during the warmer months of 2017!

As always our event field will have lots to keep you entertained, stands from our charity partners, fitness clothing & nutritional products, on-site DJ, food and drink outlets and more.

8-10k -£29.95*
Teams of 10 get 1 Free

A booking fee of £2 will also be charged to cover administration fees. 
Ticket Prices will rise by £5 each on 1st June.

Description:

Buzzards Valley is a family owned and run business in Drayton Bassett Nr Tamworth in Staffordshire. The site comprises of a vineyard, bistro, fisheries with 5 magnificent lakes, shop and much more. Bistro Overlooking the tranquil Midland countryside of Staffordshire, take a seat in their all-day bar and restaurant. With a fully licenced bar and 22 hand made wooded top tables, they opened the bistro to bring the vineyard to your table. They welcome guests to get to know their winemakers, harvesters and chefs' one meal at a time. Collaborating fresh home-grown produce and wine, their seasonally influenced menu reflects their taste in quality.

Winery The production of wine is a year round process that Leon Indie and the team at Buzzards Valley have mastered since their first crop in 2002. Vineyard tours are available to talk you through the wine making process. Fisheries Set at the foot of the vineyard and restocked several times throughout the year, they've been welcoming anglers since 2008. The precast concrete pegs used were originally part of a railway found when the lakes were dug out, these are ideal because they keep you level and don't rot. There are 5 lakes to choose from:-

Hi yes unfortunately due to an unexpected illness we had no alternative but to cancel the event.
